Girls Night Out

{If you don't like a picture of you tell me. You all probably don't like the pictures of you. We didn't get any super good pictures of anyone that night.} (also, the editing on this is not all that great....meaning I don't like it. The only photoshop thing I have on this computer is a free thing from the bookstore. So. When I go home I'm going to put the photoshop on here that I'm familiar with so I know how to use it! Just in case you wanted to know that great story)

Girls night out was super fun! We went to this place called.....something. But it was really good. We even ordered dessert there! *gasp*. Honestly, there are very very few times I remember getting dessert at the actual restaurant we eat at. We always just do something else.

 Cool, huh?

sisters!

and now with mom!

All my sisters went in on some little things and got me some "going off to college" gifts. Nesquick (spelling?), Pride and Prejudice, Traveller's Library (*wink wink*), Jane-a-Day 5 year journal, a notebook, a plant (he is named Harry Styles), and then a homemade notebook from Steph. They were all wrapped in....felt? Is that what it's called? Anyway. It was awesome and I really appreciated it! So a big thanks to everyone for that! You're the best! I have used all the gifts so far! Except P&P...I haven't gotten around to reading that yet, but I will!

I have the coolest family.

Watch this

It's 15 minutes long, so make sure you have time. It's actually pretty cute :)

SMILE :D

The Rumors are True

I missed my very first college class.

The class is at 8, and when I was setting my alarm I set it for 7:30. This helps prove how tired and out of it I am.

At 8:30 I was pouring my bowl of cereal, and then suddenly froze.

Oh shoot.

Well....good thing I have friends in that class who gave me some info I needed.

Right now I'm not really avoiding, but avoiding my homework. There is just so much to do and trying to organize it all and put it together is just scarring me. So far I've been fine since I've moved out...and all day I've been fine thinking "ah, this isn't too terrible". But right now I feel sick and just want to go home and quit college. I figured the fastest way I'd be able to put that plan into action without being looked at as a complete idiot would be to find a husband.

I think I'll stay in school.

p.s. There really are a lot of good looking fellows out there on campus.

Greetings from Provo and my new lap top

I'm moved in. And I got myself a new laptop (that is....I went and got it...I didn't get it myself).

After sitting on my bed, trying to figure out the wifi for a million years, walking down the hall, connecting, walking back, losing connection, then finally ending up in the main lobby, I am now doing my first post as a kind of official independent person (I need to get an ethernet cord for when there are actually people out here in the lobby). (That was one great run-on sentence.)

So far so good.

Today I woke up and missed the check in for New Student Orientation. So after taking my time on getting ready (meaning going slower...not actually taking time to look spectacular) and getting my computer at the bookstore, I headed over to the late check in of NSO. I got there just in time for free lunch :) So me and Jess grabbed our sandwiches and pasta and headed back to her dorm to enjoy it. Yes. We are skipping NSO. Except the free food part. We even got a thing of creamery ice cream (they are starting us on that freshman 15 right away! Yep, I ate the whole thing).

Moving in yesterday went well. It's kind of weird. Ha. Just kidding. It's super weird. But it's all good. My name is on the door, they gave me my key to the dorm and my rape whistle was on my desk when I went into my room. It's hot pink....and fun to blow. Hopefully I will never ever have to seriously use it though.

And I'm out.

I've seen 5 unknown attractive males so far.

Today.

I get kicked out of the house.

I am sick (lack of sleep and a bad diet will do you in).

It's the day of my best friends birth, Jessica!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She is legal.

I plan on going to bed at 10:00- 10:30. Pray for me that I will actually be able to accomplish that. Ha, thanks. Seriously though.

I'm meeting at least 5 new people.

I will finish all the blueberries we have. I'm almost there.

One Direction will be listened to. I will always love them. Even when I'm 81.

I think I'm going grocery shopping.

I'm running on 4 hours of sleep.

I would love to see at least one attractive male I have never seen before.

I'm wearing pants.

3 Second Romances

I love 3 second romances. I decided that right now, for me at least, they are the best kind.

You may be wondering what a 3 second romance is. You may already know what a 3 second romance is. And then you may have a different idea of a 3 second romance than I do.

So let me see if I can explain this.

A 3 second romance is when you make eye contact with someone, whether you know them or not, and there is something going on there. And you know that both of you know it. It's just something small, but it's there. Which then makes you smile with your eyes - or if you're able to hide it or no one is around, with your lips.

It could happen to a friend, or someone you're just driving by. The later of the two is my favorite.

A couple weeks ago I was driving up the hill when I pass the entrance/exit of a neighborhood and there was this guy on a scooter...or possibly a motorcycle. Anyway, he didn't have a helmet on (which is not a good idea) and so I was able to see his beautiful face. We made eye contact, and this was one of those cases where he smiled...and I smiled....and then when he couldn't see me anymore I smiled even bigger just because it made my day and it was so cute. He was also going the same way I was so this turned into a 30 second romance :D I tried not to be weird and look at my mirror every 2 seconds just to look at him. I was able to contain myself. I only looked every 10 seconds. Then I turned and went on my way and he kept going and we will never see each other again.

Whether this is just something that is ALL in my head or not, I still prefer it to a real romance when it comes down to it. Give me a couple years and I may be up for a 1 day or even 1 week romance.  Add a couple years on to that and I might even have a life long romance! Ha!

I'll have that life long one with this kid...
